Hello

I was for a quick repair help until I have enough money to get a plumber. I have a Toto Clayton toilet. One of the white "stubs" that the flapper hangs on broke is and is gone . So often I need to open the tank cover to put the flapper place. Any ideas on how I can fix this on the short term . I really do not want to install new flush valve my self since a hand issue limits me

Thanks

It's too bad they don't make these in 3 inch:

How about a piece of #10 solid copper wire bent into an L shape? The short part would serve as an ear, and the long part would be held to the overflow tube with worm gear clamps.

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
