I have slight leak at the plastic nut that fastens the fill valve at the bottom of the tank. See water drop in photo. I replaced the rubber washer that goes on the threaded inlet tube but that didn't seem to help. I've tightened the plastic nut, but I don't want to over tighten. I see no cracks in the tank by the inlet hole. Any ideas on what to try next?

How old is the fill valve? I've had older ones develop leaks in the plastic. Nothing I could do there except replace it.
If it's fairly new, then perhaps checking the inside of the tank for smoothness. I sometimes sand if needed. Pretty rare, but sometimes it helps.
