Toto Carusoe vs American Standard Cadet Trapway Shape - Auger Obstruction

Had some trouble getting a Rigid K6P closet auger out of a Toto Carusoe CST715 bowl. Was told by a plumber that he thinks its due to trapway design at the back bottom where it appears to have a little kink and considers it a design flaw. He prefers the American Standard Cadet trapway design. Anyone familiar with these models? Any validity to his claim? If so, is the Drake better in this regard?

I've never snaked a Caruso.
I own both a Cadet and a Drake from olden days. Toto and American are now just another multi-national mfr with no particular excellence. Toto started shipping crappy ballcocks on many toilets in move to economize.
Cadet is good, Champion 4 even better. Drake is fine but really Toto's reputation was made over twenty years ago before other USA mfrs were designing good low gpf toilets. Avoid Aquia unless you like skid marks.
