Hi,
I read (perhaps erroneouly) that torch heads (for sweating pipes) should not be interchanged between propane and "mapp/pro" gas, as the heat from the "mapp/pro" gas flame may damage the propane torch head during use. Is there any truth to not swapping torch heads?
thanks

For MAPP gas, use only a torch head designed for that gas.

It depends on the torch head. Some use both gases and others have to be changed when you use the different gas. Usually, a "pencil flame" will have to be changed.
