Hey everyone! I stumbled upon a thread from 2004 that talks about toilets that fit an 11" rough in, but most of those recommendations are outdated.

Does anyone know of any toilets readily-available from big box stores that fit an 11" rough in (from the finished wall)?

What you look for on the spec sheets is the space behind the tank. Most are between 1/2" and 1"

Not big box, but the TOTO Drake CST744 series has 1-1/8" behind the tank and can set on a 10-7/8" rough-in.

I see the Kohler Highline needing 13-16" behind the tank. Normally if you can move the closet bots 3/16" of an inch you can get that to fit.

Also the American standard Cadet 3
CADET® 3 FloWise® RIGHT HEIGHT™ ELONGATED COMPLETE TOILET

Plus or minus 1/4" on a gap of one inch.
You might have 3/4" and you might have 1-1/4" to work with for the Cadet.

Any 10" rough-in toilet will fit, but there will be an extra inch behind it versus what it would have been if the RI was 'correct'.

Note, make sure that you're measuring from the wall, not to the baseboard. The shape of most toilets have more room down low, but less above the bowl. Also, if things are really close, check to see if the wall is plumb...it it tilts towards the room above, what might fit at the base, may not at the tank.

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
