Hey experts, I recently had some work done under my house, redirecting the toilet and tub drain lines.

The toilet and tub used to drain directly left to the cast iron stack just outside the wall, then down into an old side sewer which was deteriorating.

I had the plumbers install new drain lines from the toilet & tub to the right towards an existing junction which connects to the side sewer down the line, past the trouble point.

As you can see from the photo, the toilet venting pulls from the old stack to the left, underneath the water draining off to the right. (The tub venting is not visible behind the toilet drain, and has its own direct roof vent, no issues there.)

I've been experiencing some weak flushing problems, any idea whether or not this oddball drain/vent configuration might be playing into it? Any other issues I should be aware of?

I expect a new modern toilet would flush very well.
