I have an old 1920's home. The toilet in the first floor bathroom needs to be replaced because it has some issues and sits too far from the wall. There currently is a 6" gap between the tank and the wall. The closet bolts are 15.75 inches from the wall. Obviously, this looks less than ideal. The bathroom floor is granite tile and it may be hard to find again, so I don't want to tear it up just to move the flange.
What is the best way to resolve this? I was thinking that maybe a 14" Toto unifit would help. Do they make a 16" unifit or a wider tank? Any other good options?
