First time posting. Hope this is the best sub for these questions.
Just recently moved into a house with a well. First time well user. The house is 6 years old. PEX pipe throughout. We have no type of filtration system at all. Well to pressure tank to faucets. We had the water tested during the buying process. Everything seems to be really good but we are having a problem with our toilets. We have 3 toilets. They all get a very slight reddish tint to the bowl which does clean easily. They also all have some degree of red sediment and little stringy things around the flapper (sorry I don't know the proper term for them). And around the stringy things are little air bubbles. Those stringy things aren't on anything else but the flapper.
Our two showers also have some kind of film on them that is impossible to clean. This could be part of the same problem along with the previous owners not cleaning well (they were pretty dirty people).
From my limited knowledge and some research it seems like this could be caused by iron but from my understanding we have barely any iron in our water. What could this be and what is the best way to fix it?
