The toilet in my master bath is leaking to the room beneath. I cut a hole in the drywall to see what's happening. I'm guessing that the wax ring is no longer holding a seal allowing it to leak. Please let me know what you think.

Thank you and Happy New Year!

What???? Even with no wax, I would not expect that flow. The main purpose to the wax is to keep smells inside. I suggest you lift the toilet, and see what you see. Do you like that toilet? You might want to take this opportunity to switch to a better toilet.

You will have to remove the toilet to fix everything. You may have a partial clog too causing it to back up and leak out.
