I tried to install a used american standard toilet into my new house from my old house that worked fine, but the horn is about 3.25in wide and the opening of the pipe in the flange is 3 in.

What should I do? I was thinking one of two things:

Buy a new toilet (probably upgrade to a Toto)
Or Use an inner pipe cutter to set the horn on top of the black ABS pipe that sits in the flange.

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated!

What is the ID of the horn? I think that is what is going to matter.

The bottom of the horn is significantly elevated from floor level, right?
