Hi I am adding a new bathroom downstairs and am in the process of installing the toilet. When I set the flange into the drain line, I could not get it to fully seat. The pipe is 3 inches and it is about a half inch short of seating fully. (Pic attached). Did I get enough of a bite or do I need to cut this out and start over.

Other problem is I built a 3 inch platform that I will need to lower to get the flange to set deeper so hoping I won't have to. Thanks
