I have had very good luck with the Korky No Wax Seal. If your flange is not more than 3/8 inch below the finished floor, it will accommodate it. More than that and they recommend using two kits. I've never had to do that, and before doing it I'd check the specs on the other no wax products. If you can set the toilet in one go (and as a DIYer I cannot), two wax rings or an extra thick wax ring is a cheap and easy way to go.

With the cement board and tile it will be at least 1/2" below floor level. Flange from what I know should sit on the floor so it will need about 3/4".

I've never used the Danco no wax ring, but they claim that it will work with a flange as much as 1.5 inches below floor level. That's what I would try since I don't have confidence that I can set the toilet correctly on wax on the first try and don't like the idea (or expense) of using two Korky no wax rings.

I had this problem. The flange was about inch below the floor and not level. I used the Danco Perfect Wax Ring With Bolts, from Home Depot. It worked perfectly. It was the only solution I could find where everything needed was in the box and I didn't need to buy extra extenders or other parts.
