I would like to add a toilet on the other side of the wall of an existing bathroom. The existing toilet is at the end of a 10' horizontal run and is wyed off of a 3" drain line. After the wye, the 3" line continues for about 15" where it does a 90 up, run through the wall and then vents through the roof. The existing toilet is the last fixture on the horizontal run before the turn up to vent.

To add another toilet on the other side of the wall, can I replace the 90 with a sanitary tee and then run the 15 inches or so to the new toilet's location? I know sanitary tees should not be used like this for drain piping, but the upward run is just for venting. Is this acceptable or is there another solution?

Thanks,
Jake
