57 years ago, my enlistment was over in the USN, and I started my plumbing and fire suppression career
Now I am 78 and have just renewed my master licenses, completed my OSHA training again, and I have also started working for three more law firms.
Last week, I met an inspector on the 94th floor of a building in Manhattan, and he asked to see my master plumber's ID
He said, "Man, you must have been doing plumbing while Jesus was still a carpenter." I just smiled
I remember in 1974, I took the very first OSHA Class for construction safety.
Looking back, I picked an amazing profession and I will not be replaced by AI and so much to still be learned
