Finishing the remodel plumbing on my master bath before inspection, and wondering if it will be necessary to pressure test. If so, can a test tee be buried behind drywall?
The remodel replaces a shower and tub drain with one shower drain a little further down the line away from the vertical run. Used the existing vent and existing plumbing, except I sectioned out 1" from the vertical. This was to provide proper slope (existing had 0 slope).
If I need to put a test tee in, I imagine I shouldn't put it in the floor where I worked on the plumbing, so would that mean in the wall? If so, that gets covered with drywall and would bury it. Is that legal?
Thanks!
