I'm about to reinstall a new tempering valve in my new water heater install at home as I have a 80 gallon solar hot water tank before my gas water heater which can really get hot.
I have had a watts temering valve installed for many many decades on the hot out going on water heater. I'm changing out lots of copper lines (I am all 3/4 copper pipe in this area) and think a new tempering valve may be in order? Any thoughts on the best Brands- watts long ago was king but whats new these days
How long do these last?

Back in the day I used flex copper lines for the install nowdays I'm thinking stainless flex is better?

Use corrugated, and not stainless steel braid over rubber/plastic hose.

Yes that what I thought -not the rubber/plastic covered stuff
Not the braided metal covering stuff.

Corrugated copper and stainless are both good, but the stainless may be more flexible.
