New here, been reading for awhile.

I have a Bradford White tankless, it's about 12 years old, and started leaking two day ago. Oddly it doesn't leak when it's running. And still generates plenty of hot water.

When it’s running it gets hot, parts expand and probably closing off the leak. Leaks do not fix themselves and it will eventually get worse.

That makes sense, so probably a pin hole in a line or something. Buddy at work mentioned the heat exchanger might be shot.
