Hello,

Is there a solution for Tankless water heaters that don't have an anode? I saw at one time seen a link to an installable electric anode and thought it might be a solution. I don't have rotten egg smell but my tank is being eaten alive. I have had to clear out faucets from large scale chunks twice now. Every six months I have to do this. Help!!!

I did have a "spin-down" filter installed and I can see all the scale from the tank go into it.

I think you would benefit from a water softener. I am presuming the chunks are hardness materials. Those can dissolve in vinegar, but I don't know the timeframe for that test.

What is your hardness?

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
