Symmons temptrol leak from cap assembly

I replaced the hot and cold seats to stop a leak from my tub faucet. That is now fixed. Great. Except I have a slow drip from behind the cap assembly. I replaced gasket T-11, still dripping, cold water only. Any ideas? I’m seriously at my wits end. It is not dripping from the diverter. It’s definitely coming from between the cap assembly and the housing from what I can see. Thanks!
