I have been looking up and down for 1" sweat x sweat unions with an o-ring/gasket rated for potable water rather than the traditional sealing of machined union faces that compress, and I can't seem to find any except these HART unions (https://www.hartindustries.com/copper-sweat-tube-unions/) which are outside of budget right now. Does anybody know if these exist under $100. It seems fairly common to use an oring/gasket for press unions but not solder (due the heating of solder, i believe). The reason I would like to have o-rings/gaskets is because I plan for the unions to be opened up every so often and don't want to have to worry about the metal faces having issues that would leak from frequently opening up the union. and also would like the frequent opening and closing of the union to be easy as well as for the union to be able to handle a lot of vibration. I dont want any threads on the sockets like many of the dielectric have but need it to be sweat by sweat. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
