Got a water problem. 45 year old house. Quad Level home.
1) Basement,
2) Slab level (family room), (1/2 level up from basement)
3) Main level (above basement)
4) Upper level (above slab)
Water is leaking from below the slab, commin up through it, about 4 feet from the outer wall. Basement does not leak! I have a sump pump, but in my 15 years in the home, its never worked. Never bothered me, cause basement was dry. The slab butts up agaisnt the basement about 4 feet from the floor of the basement. It's a 1/2 level up. Could using a sump pump prevent water leakage up through the slab?

Is the incoming water line or any other water lines running under the slab?
