Hello,
Water is leaking into the electrical cord inlet of my submersible pump.
I need a substitute part for a little giant pump model 3E-12R that prevents water getting in where electrical cord enters the housing of the submersible pump.

A technician friend advised that the needed part is called a compression gland. It has two elements that screw together and screws into the housing to protect the cord from damage and water-proof the entrance.
The parts division of Little Giant Co say they do not sell that part. I was unable to get any further advice.

I’ve tried various sealants and tapes without success.
Could you recommend a solution?
