Hi,

The toilet tank has been filling in very slowly. I couldn't figure it out why. Then, I noticed that if the bathtub faucet is open for like 5 seconds, the toilet tank starts filing up normally. I am not sure what is the explanation. I thought that maybe air is getting trapped somewhere but I am not sure where that would be.

Thanks!

Sounds weird. A clogged screen into the fill valve wouldn't do that. Stuck float? Maybe. When it's slow next time, see what happen if you push down on the float a bit.

I am thinking new float valve.

The water filling rate does not increase when I push on the float when it is trying to fill. I will continue troubleshooting...
