SS114 changed?

We have a Toto Ultramax MS854114SG-01 and just bought a replacement soft close seat number SS114 just like on our Love Plumbing 2005 invoice.
It is not quite the same shape. It is elongated but not as pointed. It maintains the edge thinness all the way back to the tank, but the hinge area becomes thicker to accommodate the hinge.
It is disappointing that it lacks the old elegance and doesn’t match the toilet bowl.
What happened? Can we get the right one?

They upgraded the design at least five years ago. Doubt you could find one that's like the old one, and no way to tell from the model number which one it is.
