An awesome site today. The wife and I were at Fish Lips Restaurant for lunch today, it is on the south side of Port Canaveral, FL inlet. We hear a commotion outside and it is the barge with three tugboats in tow returning the first stage rocket from the April 23rd launch. It's amazing that there is only about 10' for error on the auto landing. All of the white paint was burned and you can just about see the SPACEX logo on its side. It's hard to believe that the cost to recover and refurbish the reusable rocket is less costly than to build a new one. All the money must be in the rocket engine otherwise it looks like a burnt up tube.
