Solder connection

I have to screw these onto faucet before I solder joint, my concern is after heating it up to solder wouldn't the screw part come loose when it expands and destroy the Teflon

In this case how can that be done if you look at the faucet it can't be turned, is there another way

What is the faucet for? Is it mounting to a wall with pipes already stubbed out? If you are soldering after the fact, then no tape and only dope.

Id prefer to have at least a shortpiece soldered on at the adapter and put a coupling below

Yes it's a replacement above a bath tub with shower pipe, the diverter broke
I want to keep everything in same place to reuse vinyl that has cut-outs.

There's a small piece still inside the diverter I could get out with long needle nose pliers
that might be the way to go if it's a standard part the diverter.

exactly as I thought. I'd just burn a coupling

Not familiar with Canadian plumbing codes, but wouldn't a new tub or shower valve be required to be pressure balancing or otherwise anti-scald?
