All,

My elderly neighbor asked me to look at his soda ash injection pump which apparently was running continiously. I haven't dealt with anything like this before so I thought I would ask here. My advice to him was to contact a plumber, but for my knowledge what would cause a pump like this to run continuously? Timer failure perhaps?

Thanks,
Lou

Most of those Chemtec type pumps are wired to run when the water well or booster pump runs. Wired to the same pressure switch as the well pump, check to make sure the well pump is not also running 24/7.
