I'm located in Canada and have a standalone 10ft/10ft "bunkie" being constructed on my property and am debating how to add electricity. There will be only a bed, 4 standard receptacles (for charging phones/laptops and maybe a small TV), and 4 LED pot lights -- nothing else.
Options for power are:
1. Tieing into the main house. This would require pulling cable about 200ft down a solid rock cliff. Note: the main house is off-grid and 120V only.
2. Using a battery generator like one of these. Note: I'd prefer to place it outside the bunkie in a vented box/cabinet. Charging the battery is a non-issue.
Assuming I go with option 2, what kind of box or plug do I use that would tie the internal Romex wiring in the bunkie to the solar generator outside?
Sorry in advance for any poorly described terms and incorrect terminology.
