Shower refinishing

I see lots of vendors, but not many recommendations for refinishing fiberglass. Have 2 showers that are fiberglass and wrong color etc.. Refinishing looks good compared to cost of tearing old ones out and doing 2-3 piece retro shower. Anyone have comments or recommendation for professional refinish of fiberglass shower? Durability? Cleaning?

fibergalss re-finish

this is a whole other field than

having a tub re-glazed..

It is done like

they do a fibergalss corvette car when it gets banged up



they sand it down and repaint it to the color desired then
spray some sort of gel-coating over it

seems to work pretty good.


probably wise to call teh manufaucture of the tub
you own ans dee who they recommend in youir area for
fiberglass repairs to the tub to get an estimate.
