Got a Vigo shower panel, out of the wall it needs 1/2" mips fittings. As per their manual the threaded part face up.

Should I use brass or copper fittings? Does it even matter ?

Thanks Vigo.jpg

It doesn't really matter. If you solder a copper fitting onto the pipe stub, you can get it any length/position you want...with brass bits, if they're threaded on both ends, you won't but, if they solder one, they'll work, too.
