Hi! Long time searching this forum for different projects with lots of success. Thanks for all the help you guys provide daily.

I have a question that I couldn’t find an exact answer to my situation.

I’m in the middle of a bathroom remodel.

I had a stand up shower and a tub next to it. In place of the tub I’m putting a new walk-in shower.

Old tub was 1 1/2inch drain and old shower had 2 inch drain, in the middle of both there is a vent which is 1 1/2 also. I’ve included a pic of the exposed drains/vent.

My question is, can I add a new 2 inch drain highlighted in red, remove old tub and old shower drain redo 2 inch pipe leading to vent add a clean out? Or vent have to be before or after my new drain? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
