I'm currently in the process of installing a shower bench into my DIY basement bathroom and was hoping to get some advice/opinions from the brain trust.
If you take a look at the attahced image, you can get a sense of what I'm trying to do. The only thing not listed in the pic is that I will be covering the bench with Kerdi membrane, after all is said and done. I think my main question is if it is Kosher to affix 1/2" DensShield or Kerdi Board to a 2x4 bench frame and also to Plywood, insterad of using screws? I don't really want to create holes if I don't have to.
