MI buried access to a 3" drain pipe as part of a rough in basement plumbing. Can you feed shower and a tub drain into the one 3" drain? When speaking to an inspector he mentioned something about venting but there is already a vent where the vanity is going.

Each fixture needs its own vent. Bathrooms can be wet vented depending on layout. Post a diagram of what you want to do with distances and measurements.

also a real strong chance that a 3 inch line below slab is picking up drains from upper floors making using that for horizo9ntal wet venting no easy task. a lot of unknowns on your project

Do you have a photo? A lavatory could be properly wet venting a shower and a tub and a toilet, but there are also ways to do it improperly.
