I need an adult-sized but short height residential toilet (less than 13" at rim). Child-sized toilets have the right height but are too small for adults. Anyone have any suggestions?
    thanks much!

I would imagine you are looking for a "low-boy". Follow the links on toilets through Terry's site, very informative and will give you info on the best toilet. Toto is my preference.

The only "low boy" toilets I have ever seen were those that were a standard height but had a "low" tank.
