Building a new house with a new septic field. The system requires a pump chamber after the septic tank, where a pump will push waste to field. Curious to know what would be the best pump for this, I already bought a liberty sewage pump. But being told a effluent pump would be better. Any advice

The major difference between effluent and sewage pump is the solids handling capability. Effluent normally handles up to 3/4", where sewage pumps normally start at 1 1/2". Sewage pumps will normally have a higher gpm capacity than effluent pumps. Typically, effluent pumps costs less. Many septic tanks have filters that the grey water passes through before a separate pump tank. If this is the case, there is no reason you cannot use a sewage pump to pump grey water to your drain field/d-box. Suggest you get an option from your septic contactor.

The liberty pump you bought should be fine. Hope you got a duplex pump system from Liberty. Otherwise, single pumps are just a nightmare waiting to happen.
The duplex Pro series from Liberty are pre-assembled, including alarm and have the duplexing box included
