I have been lurking for awhile and love the wonderful advice that is presented here. We recently purchased a home and the ejector pump air locked and backed up water into the storage room. We had it pulled and replaced. Attached you will find the picture of the plumbing job. I am not a huge fan of the couplings, but my plumber says they are the best option in this situation. After looking up the check valve, I am also questioning that it is the best option for this set up. It is a Legend s613. The description on their website does not list wastewater under uses.

I ordered a 2" Zoeller Quiet Swing Check Valve to replace it but I wanted to make sure that it was the better option. He thinks they are a bad idea. If the Legend s613 is the better option I can get over the noise, as it is a basement bathroom that won't be used a lot.
