My plumber did not put an airgap on the condensate line of our Rinnai RU199. We had a sewage line clog and it backed up the condensate line, through the unit, and out the exhaust. Yes, I know he's an idiot. Yes, it was a mess.

So, I've removed the condensate line from the sewage line and flushed the unit through that same path with clean water for ~60 minutes until it ran clear. No internal leaking I can see in the unit. I plan on letting it drain overnight. Anything else to consider before I restart this thing?
