Setting the shower drain

This is probably a stupid question. I'm installing an Oatey 3 piece shower drain in preparation for a KBRS pan. Are there any tricks to preventing the trap assembly from pushing down when I install the drain, thus preventing the pipe and drain from fully seating? This is the first install I've done without access from below. Thanks.

YES use Clevis hangers right behind the trap and firmly support all the piping
