I had my Septic Tank pumped out yesterday. No problems, just for maintenance. The guy said I could add Rid-X or Yeast.

Now that I think about it - I'm not sure if I said I should add Rid-X or yeast or if I said I could add something if I wanted to.

So - should I add anything (to start the process)?

Also, the pumping process leaves residue. There will be a supply of organisms, that found your tank to be a hospitable place, to repopulate.
