I have a septic tank and when it rains a lot the tank fills snd you cant flush the toilets. However the shower and sinks still drain without a problem. Why do the toilets clog but not the shower and sinks?

Any chance only the toilets feed the septic and the sinks feed a dry well?

IF the ground is saturated, the leach field cannot accept any new water. A toilet discharges its water faster than a sink drain, so that's part of the problem.
