Paying bills on line opens the back door for a whole slew of con artists. Some of them live in Siberia.

I still pay bills over the phone and by slow mail, laugh all you want.

If you hover over the web address, many of them have some very strange looking web site address. The end of the domain often is from out of the country. If you have online accounts, it's always best to use your standard login or make the phone call on "your" records, not the one on the email.
I get fishing emails like that all the time. Most of those are from accounts I've never had.
