Basically if you run a 1" discharge line, properly vent it, and don't use thick toilet paper, then you should be good. If you have the option to use the extension off the toilet. And have the waste collector behind the wall... makes it much easier to service. The new ones seem to be made with cheaper parts

Unfortunately I don't have a real option of putting the pump behind the wall. I was planning on having the wall recessed so I can still pull the toilet out and get to the pump. Not ideal, I realize.

I just realized that Liberty Pumps makes a macerating system also. Anyone vouch for their quality vs the Saniflo?
