I have bought a Rinnai tankless from the scratch and dented department of an online retailer... that being said I think there are somethings missing with the unit, (basically all that showed up was the unit and the valve kit) but am not sure since there is no parts list of what should come with this unit. Should a power cord come with the unit? There are 2 very small wires coming out of the unit with a 120V tag on them but they seem to be small for the AC power and the manual makes no mention of power other than the usual requirements.

Thanks

Ok I will answer my own question....;)
I contacted customer support and they verified that on these external models the 2 wires taped to the bottom of the unit was for AC power.
The also agreed that the installation manual was lacking in this area:D

Welcome to Terry's Forum.

That sounds like a model made for gas and it uses 120V for control.

I think You need propane to go with it.

Good luck on your project,
