I have a really nice ridgid k-375 drain cleaning snake. about 6 mo ago the original cable got all bent up in the drum. I had to cut it out and throw it away. I recently bought a replacement .5 inch 50 ft hollow core replacement cable from Home Depot and the same thing happened again. I am wondering if the drum is messed up or if I am doing something wrong. Want to look into this before I buy my third one. Thanks

1. uou need a "GOOD cable" (hollow cores are seldom "good cables".)
2. You have to put it into the drum in correct direction
3. You have to know HOW to use the equipment. There is more to it than just sticking it into the drain pipe and turning it on.
