Furnace has 2 of these sensors hooked up in a loop to the control board. Furnace must prove continuity between loop before it will fire up or you get an error 58 code. Each has 1 prong sticking in collector box. One left side and one right side. They call them water sensors. How does the continuity fail? If the collector box fills with water?
