I recently purchased an APEC Reverse Osmosis system. My current sink only has one drain which is directly connected to the garbage disposal.
The method highlighted in the installation manual for connecting the drain line via the provided saddle does not seem feasible. I've located two possible solutions that could work but I'm not sure which method is correct or recommended.
1st Method:
Connect drain line using a tee off the garbage disposal drain line which is also used by the dishwasher. Please see link below.

Connect drain line to dishwasher air gap. Please see link below.

To me it seems like Method #2 would be the best way to connect the drain line from my RO system. Let me know what you guys think is the best way to attach an RO drain line for my plumbing situation. Thanks.
