Return Altered Toto?

Bought CST776CSFG#01 online. Top of rear of bowl where tank sits has one of the 3 raised points apparently cut off. It appears to me that the entire ridge toward that side is too high so the factory simply cut off the raised area making the height equal to the height of the other two points. The retailer has offered 3 options: send replacement, give refund, or give half refund and we keep the toilet. Would it be ok to install this tank with that one point being slightly rough with no porcelain coating? The overall height appears to be equal to the height of the other 2 points. Thanks!

That's a pretty common thing. They sometimes "adjust" those raised points so that the tank sets level.
