Resin tank tube not centered, Big deal?

Hi Everyone, I replace a piston and seals of a Fleck 5600 water softener timer today. When I had all the all the guts out I looked down the valve and saw the tube was misaligned. It looks like I was looking at an eclipse or a crescent if that makes any sense. Is that just how it is or I need to fix it?
