I am looking into replacing a resin/media tank. I read through numerous threads on this site. I will summarize what I found below, but I am still unsure as to whether any tank that fits these criteria is fine.

My findings from this site:
(1) Don't buy a valve/tank combo from an online retailer, because they pair a quality valve with a low-cost tank.
(2) Don't buy a tank from a big box store.
(3) Get an unpainted (almond-colored) tank so you can observe the media expansion with a flashlight during backwash.
(4) Get a tank with a dome port to allow easier media replenishment.
(5) Get a tank with a 10-year warranty.
(6) Opinions on Vortech tanks are mixed.

Questions:
(1) So am I good getting any tank with a 10-year warranty?
(2) Instead of looking for a specific tank, should I "buy" the reputation of a local place and trust that they are selling quality tanks?
(3) What is a structural tank?

Thank you!
