Replacing shutoff valve on CPVC

Only one problem -- not much length to work with once he cuts off the old stop.

He doesn't need to cut the stop off. Just undo it and replace with new using the old nut and glued on flange.
I went to Home Depot and McLendon's to buy a CPVC stop, mainly so I could take pictures for this thread. They don't have them.
The guy just laughed when I asked for them. :(

I do see them on the Brasscraft web site though. Maybe you can buy direct from them?

This is awkward, but...
